Lambrechts / Lismont (Grondelaers)

I first visited this national winning loft in 1996. In 1997 Marcel sent me two birds, a chequer cock & a blue youngbird, thinking it was a hen. It turned out to be a Blue Cock B 97 2441879. He is sire to GB 04 E 10852 winner of 2nd. Wolverhampton Gold Ring Race. It's nestmate was Best Y/B in the Angus Fed. 97-879 was also sire to Blue Cock 1st club, 1st Fed., 1st. Section Maidstone Nat. 8,000 birds. Sadly, in 2005 he escaped from my loft & was gone!

I then re-visited Lambrects/ Lismont & decided to create my own family of Grondelaers from this outstanding partnership. Marcel himself selected a yearling from his race team Belg 03 2140066, winner of 11 prizes in the first ten. This cock is now my No.1 Grondelaer stock cock.
